France's Maxime Schmitt has swooped to the top of the Aerobatics Freestyle to Music (AFM) podium today, 8 February, at the 2025 FAI F3P World Championship for Indoor Aerobatic Model Aircraft in Switzerland, with exceptional flights gaining him maximum points across five rounds.
Taking silver and bronze medals home to Austria in this category are Gernot Bruckmann (who claimed gold in the Aerobatics category on Friday 7 February) and Andreas Wildauer. Talented young pilot Lucas Poncet - a junior competitor - took fourth position, and claimed a gold in his junior class, mirroring his win in the F3P-A category. However it was Matteo Pasini of Switzerland who claimed the bronze among the juniors in the AFM.
